The Japanese paper Star got a really nice pic of Korean star Kang-ho Song as the doomed priest in Chan-Wook Park's upcoming vampire film "THIRST", which is getting ready to go into post-production. Why it takes most Korean filmmaker 6 months to shoot and release a movie and it's taken Park a few years is beyond me, but since "THIRST" is part of Universal's first financial contribution to Korean films, at least we know it'll be coming to our shores at some point.Synopsis : Sang-hyun, a priest working for a hospital, selflessly volunteers for a secret vaccine development project intended to eradicate a deadly virus. However, the virus eventually takes over the priest. He nearly dies, but makes a miraculous recovery by an accidental transfusion of vampire blood. He realizes his sole reason for living: the pleasures of the flesh.
