Akinnuoye-Agbaje To Play 'Kurse'
"LOST" and "G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA" star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is set to play the secondary villain in the Alan Taylor-directed upcoming sequel "THOR: THE DARK WORLD" at Marvel Studios and Disney says Variety.Christopher Eccleston stars as the primary villain Malekith the Accursed, the ruler of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.
Agbaje will play Algrim the Strong the most powerful of the Dark Elves who was coerced by Malekith into fighting Thor. Malekith tries to kill them both and while Thor escapes, Algrim falls into lava presumed dead.
Shooting on the sequel is taking place in London.
Synopsis : Thor battles an ancient race of Dark Elves led by the vengeful Malekith who threatens to plunge the universe back into darkness after the events of Avengers.
