Clive Barker wrote the ultimate death of Pinhead

Clive Barker was in Rotterdam, The Netherlands to promote his new fantasy book Abarat . During the lecture he told us about an idea the Dimension Films movie company had about creating a duelling movie with Hellraiser's Pinhead and Halloween's Michael Myers in the style of Freddy vs. Jason. Clive was asked if he would like to be involved in this movie idea. He told the movie company that he would only get involved if he could destroy the character Pinhead. Because the movie company didn't want to finish with just one movie they said no.

Since the third movie Clive didn't want to be involved with the Hellraiser series nor the character Pinhead. But a few weeks ago Clive met Doug Bradley (Pinhead) in London where they had dinner. He told Doug that he had been thinking of writing a story in which the character Pinhead gets killed forever. He jokingly said that Doug threw some stuff at him but luckily it didn't hit.

Before Clive finishes his third of four Abarat books he will put together a new book of short stories in the style of The Books of Blood. One of the stories will be the final chapter of Hellraiser. There is no talk yet of creating it into a script, but an official Clive Barker chapter must be very tempting, even it would be the last. How Pinhead will die? Clive just told us it will be in a way you would least expect...
