DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004)
Where and how did it happen... WE DON'T KNOW.
We don't know what happened, we don't know how it all began; but from one day to another, the world has become a real nightmare in apocalyptical
proportions. The whole planet was striked by an unexplainable, unthnkable and mortal hanging disease - and the deads don't die anymore. Unceasingly looking for their next meal and driven by an endless greed for fresh flesh,intiringly, some zombies pursue the few survivors.
After escaping by the skin of living deads' teeth in her Wisconsin suburbs, Ana Clarke (Sarah Polley) meets a small group of living : Kenneth, a stoic
policeman (James Weber), and the tough nut Andre (Mehki Phifer), with his pregnant wife. The heterogeneous group decides to find shelter in a shopping center, a true fortress of the XXth century.
As the outside world still falls down in a dark hell, as the growing army of the putrid zombies tries endlessly to go inside the shopping center, the survivors must not only fight against the living deads, but also one against the others and against their fears and doubts.
Isolated from the rest of the world, the shopping center inhabitants - from then one of the last bastion of humanity - must learn to live together and
to use all the resources available in their fight to stay alive, and above all, humans.
When there's no more room in heaven, the dead will walk here...
