The casting news for "DEAD OF NIGHT" is coming in a little quicker now that they're out shooting down in New Orleans.
STYD is reporting that "GREY'S ANATOMY" hearthrob Taye Diggs has signed to take on the role of the leader of the vampires.

Apparently, we won't just be seeing vampires either. "We've got werewolves, zombies and vampires - and a few sub-categories of those," director Kevin Munroe told STYD. What more could horror fans ask for?

"DEAD OF NIGHT" stars Routh as a private investigator who stumbles onto the world of the undead. Kevin Munroe ("TMNT") is directing a screenplay by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly ("SAHARA", "CONAN THE BARBARIAN"), who moved the action from the U.K. to the deep bayou of Louisiana.

Synopsis : The adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.
