Earth is a Dead Planet

Hi. I'm writing to let you know about an upcoming Sci-Fi/Horror flick being filmed here in Cleveland, Ohio by Head 2 Head Productions next Spring.

The movie is called Dead Planet and is the brainchild of writer/director Marcus Cook (of Love In A Straightjacket fame).

Here's a concise version of the storyline:

A post apocalyptic wasteland covers the earth. Disease, environmental destruction, mutation, and a dictatorial government bringing the dead back to life are just the way things are here. Things could be worse.
For one woman they are. The rejected nukeman turned reborn, Shain attempts to make sense of her life, or is that afterlife? You see Shain was alive. She didn't make the grade when it came to being one of the Nukemen, un-dead super soldiers with no feelings, no decency, and not s single shred of humanity left in their cold dead corpses, Shain still had something. Thrown out by the A.S.P. (American Survival Procedure) left to slowly shrivel up and die, again she must eat brains to survive.
If that weren't enough to worry about, Shain has to avoid twilighters, (horribly disfigured, diseased humans), scags, (the dregs of society), and the occasional nukeman patrol.

Luckily she meets Alexis, a young woman looking for the family she abandoned, and an unlikely tracker and his client, Confederate Jack and Jason Roosevelt. Jack and Jason are on their way to one of the larger cities in search of his family and future.

The group must learn to work together to survive the harsh environment of this now Dead Planet, and to survive each other.
