Fabrice Du Welz Heads to War!
It has been a year since Fabrice Du Welz's "VINYAN" had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Bloody-Disgusting.com caught up with Welz, who also directed the popular french horror film "CALVAIRE", who revealed what's next on his plate. "Well, I'm working on a war movie," he tells B-D exclusively. "Modern War. With scary and twisted elements. We just finished the script this summer and start a preproduction this Autumn. We hope to shoot in Springtime," adding a teaser about the plot. "It's a story of a commando UK platoon who has a special mission in a small Afghan village lost in the moutains. When they go there, everything goes wrong and turns bad." Watch for casting and more details when it's officially announced.
