William H. Macy Joins "FREAKY DEAKY"
William H. Macy has signed on to play the lead in the Elmore Leonard adaptation "FREAKY DEAKY", reports Deadline.Macy will likely play the film's lead character, Chris Mankowski, a Detroit police sergeant who moves from the bomb squad to sex crimes, coming up against a group 60's radicals who now, in the story's 70's setting, are part of an investigation involving the bombing of a limousine.
The film will be directed by Charles Matthau and will likely shoot on location in Michigan.
