Milla Jovovich Says "RESIDENT EVIL 5" is Happening
With an opening of $73.2 million worldwide in just three days for "RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE", it's no surprise that Screen Gems would want to continue the franchise. Vulture caught up with star Milla Jovovich this weekend who said that's exactly the plan."This new 'Resident Evil' is the first one to ever open at No. 1 worldwide. It's the biggest movie in the franchise," she said. "So we're definitely going to make another one."
Jovovich added that director Paul W.S. Anderson, her husband, already has some ideas for the fifth installment and they are looking for ideas from the fans as well this time.
"We've been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it's probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It's going to be a more interactive process."

i love the fact that you guys are looking to the fans for the next movie which shows you have great compassion for, not only the series but the games as well. two great characters that should be added are Sheva and Leon. Also, one major thing is what happened to the daughter of the scientist that had the same powers as Alice? it never explained that, and wouldn't she be a powerful ally to have? to just dismiss her is kind of weird... please bring her back!
hi im a fan of resident evil(both games and movies) and i dont know if millla or paul see this or something but they said for resident evil 5 they wanted fan input so heres what we want:
1)wesker needs to be back
2)Jill needs to be the main villain along with wesker
3)more depth on the history of jill and chris like their relationship has to be involved
4)an slow mo action sequence between jill and alice(doesnt have to be all slowmo)
5)more history of how the executioner was created
6)u guys have to introduce LEON plz and noone else only LEON
7)a stronger script:D
8)Claire needs to get her memory back to develop more of her brother to sister relationship
9)3D has to stay plz
10)oh i would like to see alice get a love interest and jill with chris
11) one important character must die(good guy) to make it more dramatic u know even though it will be sad but it makes it more dramatic and thats goodlol
12)more zombies, more executioners, more gore plzzz even the games are more gorier
13) and of course alice has to be back and paul too
14)oh and a bigger budget and better cgi effect and everything else(not saying afterlife cgi etc was bad)
15) oh chainsaw zombie dude thats scary and in 3D
16)finally what i want is like flashbacks of star members like Jill and chris of their history
