"CATFISH" Helmers to Direct "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3"
"CATFISH" helmers Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will direct "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3" for Paramount Pictures, reports Variety."PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2" writer Christopher B. Landon is returning to write, while the first film's director Oren Peli will again produce with Jason Blum. Steven Schneider and Akiva Goldsman will executive produce.
The trade says that the third film "is currently being envisioned as an origin story set in the 1980s that will follow a new family."
The studio has set a October 21, 2011 release for "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3".
