Paramount Pictures has dropped the official "SMILE 2" poster for its upcoming supernatural horror thriller, which serves as the sequel to Parker Finn's hit 2022 movie. It is currently scheduled to debut in theaters on October 18, 2024.In "SMILE 2", Naomi Scott as a popstar who suddenly gets herself involved in a strange and creepy phenomenon, after witnessing a former classmate's death. Besides Scott, the movie also features Lukas Gage ("DEAD BOY DETECTIVES"), Dylan Gelula ("DREAM SCENARIO"), Rosemarie DeWitt ("POLTERGEIST"), and Peter Jacobson ("HOUSE").
"SMILE 2" is once again written and directed by Parker Finn. The first installment was based on his 2020 short film "LAURA HASN'T SLEPT". Additional cast includes Raúl Castillo, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Daphne Zelle, Zebedee Row, and "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET" alum Kyle Gallner.
Synopsis : About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her past.
