HBO's hit horror series "THE LAST OF US" returns for Season 2 in 2025, and HBO has just released the first official teaser trailer.Season 2 catches back up with Joel and Ellie after the harrowing events of the first season's finale. And keep your eyes peeled for a first look at Kaitlyn Dever's Abby, a character from the video game's sequel who will factor heavily into Season 2.
Following a record-breaking first season as the most-watched debut season of a series ever for HBO, the second season will debut in 2025 on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
Season 2 returning cast includes Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. New cast includes Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.
Catherine O'Hara also guest stars in "THE LAST OF US SEASON 2", alongside Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, the very same character he voiced in The Last of Us Part II video game.
The lineup of directors for Season 2 includes Mark Mylod alongside Nina Lopez-Corrado, Stephen Williamsand Kate Herron. They join returning directors Peter Hoar, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.
Synopsis : After a global pandemic destroys civilization, a hardened survivor takes charge of a 14-year-old girl who may be humanity's last hope.
