Interview with Paul Fenech - January 2005

This changes from time to time but some of my all time goodies are "THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT ", I just like the cheapness and the realism of it. I know people just the same as that, and Sadie, the girl from it, is a long time fantasy for me also like the chisel and the teeth part, another is both versions of "CAPE FEAR" although I prefer the DeNiro version. I like Troma films because they are trashy but I also like big budget FX so it depends on my mood. I have a collection of over 2000 films and they play a big part in my songwriting.

That is to long a list, the "ED GEIN" one was shit as was the "PSYCHO" remake.

Got no favourite. I am not into that kind of snobbish elitist shit. I don't need to justify a film by merely the director.

Got no interest in other bands but I don't think Death Metal is scary and it seems to infect most films or this fashionbilly Necro/ Mad Sin stuff. Its gutless and makes a comedy of the horror genre.

"PSYCHO" , "CAPE FEAR". I have written for 6 films under different names. Its a good game to find me, 2 are very famous.

I have a big collection of original Hammer film posters and stills.
