Interview with Luisma - May 2005

Its difficult to choose only one movie, but I think the 2 movies that shocked me deeply were "THE EXORCIST" and "TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE". I watched them when I was a child and they fucking scare me, then I watched many cool movies, Braindead its one of my faves too, but none was so shocking on me as those two old movies.

I don't know...Talking on Horror movies I think "BLAIR'S WITCH PROJECT" can be one of those movies I dislike. They advertised the movie as it was something really cool and I was totally bored in the end...

If I look the whole career I think one of the best directors is Peter Jackson, yes I know its trendy to say this, maybe all people expects I say Jorg Buttgereit, Lucio Fulci, Deodato, or some cult director. I think Peter Jackson its very good cause when I watched "BAD TASTE" in the 80s I can't expect he can do something like "LORD OF THE RING" saga. That is a wonderful thing in my opinion...its like an underground gore band that chart the MTV top 10... I think he's very talented director.

I think I've no favourite actors...

I remember I had some nightmares with a scene of "TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE"...that when someone enters the house and Leatherface gets out of the kitchens door and grip her in!! Its not the bloodiest scene in my life, but It shocked my mind for some unknown motive.

Hmm...I think the "Horror" could be represented by bands like Kind Diamond which has some really cool and horrific atmosphere on some of their early albums, but if you want something more "Gory" you have Impetigo, Mortician, and some other movie worshipers.

I really like NEKROMANTIK" soundtrack...its not a surprise if you listen to our first album ha, ha...perhaps we use another tune of this sountrack in our new album.

I think the 60s and 70s movies had some really great posters, I think that's missing today. I remember I loved to watch my old "ZOMBIE" VHS. I think the artwork could be different in the spanish version as I saw some other different flyers around.

None of them. The old Leatherface will rip them apart with his Chainsaw!!!!

I visited your website and I think its one of the best and more complete webzines of music and movies...I mean the more of this kind of webzines have only old movie reviews but you have a very updated and complete site...congratulations dudes!!!
