Filmax Preps Spanish Sequel, "[REC] 2"
Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza are reuniting to direct a sequel to the off-the-charts-awesome Spanish horror flick "[REC]", which has already been remade here in the States at "QUARANTINE". The first film, which we're told Sony Home Entertainment will release in the fourth quarter of this year, a young TV reporter and her cameraman cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams -- which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.
