Rob Zombie's Halloween
The official release date for the newest installment in the horror series is August 31, 2007. The film isn't so much a sequel as it is a remake. In fact, it is actually a prequel and a remake of the original 1978 version by John Carpenter. Rob Zombie calls it his "reimaging".
