'Walking Dead' Artist Creates Own "SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD" Poster
Releasing commissioned Charlie Adlard, illustrator of "The Walking Dead," to create his own version of the poster for George A. Romero's "SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD". The result is the lean and bloody-hungry zombie infected one sheet below.Magnet has released the film here in the US via VOD, XBOX Live, Playstation Network, and Amazon and then you can dig on it in theatres as it begins its limited theatrical run on May 28th.
Like its predecessors, Romero's "SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD" takes place in a desperate, nightmarish world where the dead walk the earth, relentlessly attacking the living. It is the story of Plum Island - a beautiful refuge whose isolation allows two powerful families to maintain a semblance of order in the wake of the zombie holocaust. But as the inhabitants slowly die off, the two clans become sharply divided: The O'Flynns believe that the undead must be destroyed without exception, while the Muldoons insist that afflicted loved ones be kept "alive" until a cure is found. The result is an escalating showdown with echoes of a classic Western stand-off that erupts in brutality and violence.
Synopsis : The dead have risen for less than a week and the world is already like hell. The army has sunk into chaos and some soldiers prefer to desert. They succeed in reaching a small island off North America’s coast, a remote place where they hope to live in peace. But what they thought could be an oasis is only a microcosm of the world at war they just left…
