Moon BloodGood & Arnold Schwarzenegger in "TERMINATOR 4"
Moon Bloodgood ("ANTARTICA", "PATHFINDER") is in final negotiations for the female lead in director McG's "TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE FUTURE BEGINS", says The Hollywood Reporter.Bloodgood will star alongside Christian Bale, Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin in the fourth installment of the sci-fi series, being produced by Halcyon Co. and set for a Warner Bros. release on May 22, 2009.
Bloodgood will play a no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance.
Halcyon's Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson are producing with Moritz Borman and Jeff Silver. David Campbell Wilson, John Brancato and Michael Ferris wrote the screenplay. Peter Graves, Dan Lin and Jeanne Allgood are executive producing.
Principal photography is set to begin May 5.
Bloodgood is shooting "STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI" and also appears in "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?".
Arnold has made it really clear according to a multitude of online outlets that he wants to be in "TERMINATOR 4 SALVATION". There is no source posted for the quote but everyone is running the following quote accredited to Arnold;
"I've never had a dialogue with anyone about it. But if they shoot the movie in California, I would [be a part of it], yes."
Synopsis : The year is 2018. Judgment Day has come and gone, leveling modern civilization. An army of Terminators roams the post-apocalyptic landscape, killing or collecting humans where they hide. But small groups of survivors have organized into a Resistance, striking when they can against an enemy force that vastly outnumbers them. Controlling the Terminators is the artificial intelligence network Skynet, which became self-aware 14 years earlier and turned on its creators, unleashing nuclear annihilation on an unsuspecting world. Only one man saw Judgment Day coming: John Connor. Now the world is on the brink of the future that Connor has been warned about all his life. But something totally new has shaken his belief that humanity stands a chance of winning this war: the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger from the past whose last memory is of being on death row before awakening in this strange, new world. Connor must decide whether Marcus can be trusted. But as Skynet adapts new strategies to end the Resistance forever, Connor and Marcus must find common ground to take a stand against the onslaught--to infiltrate Skynet and meet the enemy head-on.
