A new 5 minute trailer for 20th Century Fox's "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" is now online and can be watched using the player below! You may have seen a lot of this video on TV in September, but this new version of the clip features more footage previously unseen.Opening on December 12 in conventional theaters and IMAX, the sci-fi thriller stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and Kyle Chandler. Reeves portrays Klaatu, an alien whose arrival on our planet triggers a global upheaval. As governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind the visitor's appearance, a woman (Connelly) and her young stepson get caught up in his mission – and come to understand the ramifications of his being a self-described "friend to the Earth."
