Teri Polo Joins Joe Dante's "THE HOLE"

Teri Polo is set to star in Joe Dante's supernatural feature "THE HOLE", says The Hollywood Reporter.

Additionally, the actress has been tapped for two episodes of CBS' supernatural drama "GHOST WHISPERER".

"THE HOLE", from Bold Films and Benderspink, centers on Susan (Polo), a mother who moves with her teen sons to a rural house where the three are forced to face their fears after discovering a bottomless hole in the basement.

Also cast in the project, written by Mark L. Smith, is Haley Bennett ("THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY"). She will play Julie, a neighbor who is attracted to one of the sons.

Production on the film, which will be filmed in 3-D, starts Dec. 5 in Vancouver

Synopsis : A pair of brothers stumble upon a mysterious hole in their basement that leads to the darkest corridors of their fears and nightmares.
