"LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT" Release Date
It was announced that apparently the "LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT" film will be released on Friday the 13th in March. This is also apparently the same day as "THE HORSEMAN" but I don't see it being much competition. The choice of Friday the 13th is probably no coincidence considering that Producer Sean S. Cunningham also created the FD13 franchise.
The night she arrives at the remote Collingwood lakehouse, Mari (Sara Paxton) and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Mari's only hope is to make it back to parents John and Emma (Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter). Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek shelter at the one place she could be safe. And when her family learns the horrifying story, they will make three strangers curse the day they came to The Last House on the Left.
Synopsis : After kidnapping and brutally assaulting two young women, a gang led by a prison escapee unknowingly finds refuge at a vacation home belonging the parents of one of the victims -- a mother and father who devise an increasingly gruesome series of revenge tactics.
