Various Piranha Will be Coming at You in 3-D
ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to French director Alexandre Aja, who gave an update on Dimension Films' "PIRANHA 3-D", which he will direct and co-wrote with Josh Stolberg. The remake of Joe Dante's "PIRANHA" was scheduled for a July 24, 2009 release, but the helmer says the winter shoot on the water was delayed. Instead, principal photography will start in the spring.
Synopsis : After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents.
