Emma Stone Enters "ZOMBIELAND"
Emma Stone ("SUPERBAD") is in final negotiations to star alongside Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg in the horror comedy "ZOMBIELAND" for Columbia Pictures, reports Variety.Ruben Fleischer will direct the film, which centers on a band of survivors who team to fight the living dead in the post-apocalyptic Southwest after a zombie plague ravages America.
Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese wrote the screenplay.
Gavin Palone is producing the film, which begins shooting in Atlanta in February. The casting office was recently seeking extras for sequences featuring the walking dead.
Synopsis : A cowardly shut-in named Columbus (Eisenberg) is forced to join up with a seasoned zombie slayer named Tallahassee (Harrelson) in order to survive. As Tallahassee sets out on a mission to find the last Twinkie on Earth, the two men meet up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), two young girls who have resorted to some rather unorthodox methods to survive amidst the chaos. Reluctant partners in the battle against the undead, all four soon begin to wonder if they might not be better off on their own.
