You'll definitely be seeing Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers when "SCREAM 4" hits the screen.Actor David Arquette (who played Deputy Riley in Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson's "Scream" trilogy) confirmed to E! Online that he has officially signed up for the sequel, and so has his wife Courteney Cox.
"We are going to be doing "SCREAM 4"," Arquette tells the site. "Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct."
So there's two actors locked. Arquette hopes Craven and Neve Campbell follow, but that's still all up in the air. Williamson, as it has been reported, is penning a "new trilogy" in the franchise. Craven's commitment is contingent on the strength of the script. And naturally, no plot details are being revealed as to where Williamson is taking the story next.

im so excited that they are coming back for Scream 4,5, and 6. well thats what it sounds like. and its understandable that they would come back i mean they fell in love on the set of Scream im excited. im jus curious on how the plot will go and if Neve will ACTUALLY come back i know ive read things saying she won't be maybe she will do the same thing that she did for Scream 3 only stay on set for 20 days. and im excited to see who they cast for the fresh new faces and i wonder who will do a cameo and how they will start. i think a good idea would be is to do a backstory you know follow maureen,roman, and billy that would be exciting. but thats just me.
