Aimee Teegarden Joins casting
"FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS" and "SCREAM 4" star Aimee Teegarden has joined Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz and Alex Roe in Paramount's "RINGS", the third installment in the "THE RING" horror franchise, about a cursed video tape that unleashes a demonic horror which kills the unwitting viewer within seven days. F Javier Gutiérrez directs from a script by David Loucka, Jacob Aaron Estes, and Akiva Goldsman.
Formerly called "THE RING 3D", Rings began principal photography in Atlanta this week.
Synopsis : Julia becomes worried about her boyfriend, Holt, when he explores the dark urban legend of a mysterious video said to kill the watcher seven days after viewing. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a "movie within the movie" that no one has ever seen before.
