Clash of the Titans Remake Adds Three to Cast
THR reported that the new Titans, which is being helmed by Louis Leterrier (2008's "THE INCREDIBLE HULK", the very underrated "UNLEASHED"), has added Mads Mikkelsen ("CASINO ROYALE"), Gemma Arterton ("QUANTUM OF SOLACE") and Alexa Davalos ("THE MIST") to the cast which already includes Sam Worthington ("ROGUE", "TERMINATOR: SALVATION") as the valiant Perseus who must battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda.Mikkelsen is set to play Draco, who assists Perseus on his quest. Arterton will take on the role of Io, who is instrumental in bringing the winged horse Pegasus to Perseus and Davalos has been cast as Andromeda, the damsel in distress.
Filming is set to begin late this spring, and since there are a lot more characters involved with "CLASH OF THE TITANS", I am sure more casting news will be on its way soon!
Synopsis : Helpless to save his family from Hades (Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Neeson) and unleash hell on earth.
