"MACHETE KILLS" Script Already Completed
A "MACHETE" sequel has already been written, according to the film's leading man. Danny Trejo, who plays a Mexican ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, revealed that filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has already put pen to paper. "I asked him when he was going to write it and he says it's written, so we can get started pretty quick," the actor revealed on the red carpet in Los Angeles. Danny demonstrated his more cuddly side in the city by riding on a float in the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. The action star admitted he'd been blown away by Machete's reception. "We went all over the world with that movie and people kept having me sign these Machete action figures, it was a lot of fun," he confessed. "I don't even think Robert Rodriguez even expected that reception and now everyone is waiting for Machete 2 so hurry up Robert Rodriguez!" Danny laughed. Trejo told Bloody Disgusting the sequels will be titled "MACHETE KILLS" and "MACHETE KILLS AGAIN".
