On September 1st, Lionsgate will debut Kevin Smith's "RED STATE" on VOD. The untraditional, direct-to-fan, touring theatrical release pioneered by SModcast Pictures during the "Red State USA" Tour continues this fall.Starring Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano, Steven Root, Michael Parks and John Goodman, Lionsgate has just released an official trailer and one sheet that can both be viewed inside.
" 'Red State' unfolds in a small town dominated by a fundamentalist preacher, Abin Cooper. It tells the story of three high school boys who, on their way to an internet arranged meeting with a woman, end up crossing paths with Cooper. The encounter sets into motion a series of events that causes all hell to break loose."
Synopsis : Three horny high-school boys come across an online ad from an older woman looking for a gang bang. Boys being boys, they hit the road to satisfy their libidinal urges. But what begins as a fantasy takes a dark turn as they come face-to-face with a terrifying “holy” force with a fatal agenda.
