"STRANGERS" Sequel Being Readied
A sequel to the 2008 surprise horror hit "THE STRANGERS" is headed into production reports Variety.The original centered on a couple terrorized by masked assailants at their remote summer house. The story details of the sequel are being kept top secret, but the original's writer/director Bryan Bertino penned the script.
French helmer Laurent Briet will direct while Ryan Kavanaugh, Nathan Kahane, Roy Lee and Doug Davison will produce.
Filming kicks off this Fall.
Synopsis : A family's road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family's every limit as they struggle to survive.
