CASTING
Jadin Gould joins as Young Lana Lang
13-year-old actress Jadin Gould has been cast as young Lana Lang in "SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL" for Warner Bros. Pictures and director Zack Snyder.The actress will be seen in a flashback scene while Clark Kent is growing up in Smallville. It isn't known if the actress has already shot her scenes or not. Jadin Gould recently appeared in "BATTLE: LOS ANGELES", and has been featured in guest starring roles on "RIZZOLI & ISLES", "THE FORGOTTEN", and "THE MENTALIST".
Zack Snyder is directing "SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL" from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, which is based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer.
"SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL" comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Julia Ormond, Laurence Fishburne and Russell Crowe.
Synopsis : A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.
