Jacob Hunt has had some very bad breaks in life. His wife left him, his friends have all abandoned him and his children barely see him. He needs a break to get back on his feet. Jacob is given an amazing gift when he is called to be the overnight security at the old Shadowview Manor. It?s been turned into a commercial office and retail building. The tenants hear strange things at night. Some claim to see strange people. Jacob is about to learn that nights around the old building contain many secrets. A dark past that is breaking through the boundaries of time, leaking into this dimension. And on Jacob?s first night on the job, it's the anniversary of the dark tragedy that has stained the building. All those secrets finally break down the veil between worlds and unleash an evil curse that will destroy everyone in the building if it?s not stopped.

Cult Horror Director Todd Sheets returns to the genre with an ambitious, shocking film that is sure to please fans of Horror everywhere. An original, compelling story, full of twists and turns, "HOUSE OF FORBIDDEN SECRETS" is sure to be a standout of the genre, bringing fresh ideas to the Haunted House formula. Featuring practical special make-up effects, not the overused computer generated effects we see in most genre films these days and an amazing musical soundtrack from acclaimed Japanese composer Toshiyuki Hiraoka, "HOUSE OF FORBIDDEN SECRETS" is truly one of a kind. A Horror film that will truly scare an audience, getting deep under their skins with creepy atmosphere and genuine moments of shock.

This will be the 18th feature film for director Todd Sheets who began making Super 8 films in Kansas City at age 9. A true pioneer of Kansas City film making, Todd signed his first worldwide distribution deal when he was 18 years old and his early films, though crude, caught on with the Japanese, German and Italian markets. As Todd grew, so did his films, eventually shaking lose his “zero budget” beginnings and winning film festival awards and acclaim in several countries. Todd's film "MOONCHILD" even won the 2nd place Best Feature Film award the KAN Film Fest.

In 2003 Todd took a break from filming to concentrate full time on his syndicated radio show NIGHTWATCH. The show grew and by 2011 was being heard on 406 stations worldwide. Through the radio show Todd met the stars of Sci-Fi Channels GHOST HUNTERS, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. They became fast friends and Todd was taken all over the United States to host the GHOST HUNTER events at some of the most haunted places in America. In addition to the Paranormal, Todd talks to actors, actresses, authors and industry leaders from Film and TV each week on the show. It is a true labor of love for Todd and his crew.

In April of 2012 Todd Sheets suffered a heart attack and was required to undergo quadruple bypass surgery. Todd has always been straight edge. No drinking of alcohol, no drug use and no smoking. The health issues were tied to the family genetics. After fighting his way back from the surgery, Todd not only jumped right back into his radio show, but completed two CDs with his band Jedi Superstar and finished his script "HOUSE OF FORBIDDEN SECRETS".

Before the heart attack, Todd had been missing the world of film. He was preparing a script, bringing with him much of the knowledge he learned while touring with the Ghost Hunters. Due to the long hospital stay of 4 weeks and one day, the project had to be put on hold. As soon as he was able, Todd finished the script, and with the help of his friend Lew Temple, actor from "THE WALKING DEAD" on AMC, brought in Bryan David, a Los Angeles based Producer who produces film and music projects with his company BD Productions.
