Eldard, Emmerich Fill Out J.J. Abrams "SUPER 8"
Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills have all joined the cast of the J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg team-up "SUPER 8" at Paramount Pictures reports Variety.The group join the just cast Kyle Chandler ("FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS") and Elle Fanning ("SOMEWHERE") in the lead roles on the top-secret project which began shooting today around Weirton, West Virginia which has been transformed to resemble Ohio in 1979.
The roles of the various actors are being kept under wraps, but set photos from the initial shooting have already leaked online at AICN. You can see some here :
Synopsis : In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
