Paramount Pictures has debuted the anime-to-live action adaptation "GHOST IN THE SHELL" trailer featuring Scarlett Johansson as Major Motoko Kusanagi. Directed by Rupert Sanders ("SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN"), "GHOST IN THE SHELL" stars Scarlett Johansson, Michael Pitt, Juliette Binoche, Takeshi Kitano, Michael Wincott, and Pilou Asbæk.
"GHOST IN THE SHELL" hacks its way into theaters on March 31st, 2017.
Synopsis : Ghost in the Shell tells the story of The Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
