Clifton Collins Jr. Signs Up for "THE EXPERIMENT"
Yet another inmate has signed up for Paul Scheuring's remake of Oliver Hirschbiegel's based-on-a-true-story paranoia flick "DAS EXPERIMENT". Titled simply "THE EXPERIMENT", if the movie ends up being a tenth as good as its cast, we could be in for a real treat!Variety reports that Clifton Collins Jr. has signed up for experimentation, joining the already announced Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Elijah Wood, and Cam Gigandet for Inferno Entertainment and Magnet Media Group.
The story shows what happens when a research study on a group of ordinary men recruited to take on the roles of guards and prisoners goes terribly out of control. Brody will portray the de facto leader of the prisoners while Whitaker will play a guard who's corrupted by the power he's given. Shooting begins in Iowa next month.
Synopsis : 26 men are chosen to participate in the roles of guards and prisoners in a psychological study that ultimately spirals out of control.
