12 character posters debut ahead of season 2
Ahead of the show's premiere in just a few more weeks, Netflix has revealed twelve different "STRANGER THINGS" character posters for Season 2!The second season will hit the streaming service on October 27, 2017, just in time for Halloween.
The second season of the hit series is set a year after Will's return, and everything seems back to normal... but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins. It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
"STRANGER THINGS" Season 2 will star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Joe Keery , Charlie Heaton, and Matthew Modine. New cast additions include Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery ("POWER RANGERS"), newcomer Linnea Berthelsen, and '80s icons Sean Astin ("THE GOONIES", "THE LORD OF THE RINGS") and Paul Reiser ("ALIENS").
Synopsis : In a small town where everyone knows everyone, a peculiar incident starts a chain of events that leads to the disappearance of a child - which begins to tear at the fabric of an otherwise peaceful community. Dark government agencies and seemingly malevolent supernatural forces converge on the town while a few locals begin to understand that there's more going on than meets the eye.
