Tons of news for "SAW" franchise !
"SAW"According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, it seems the original film has been redone in 3-D and will be getting either a DVD or Theatrical release through Legend Films !
With a dead body laying between them, two men (Whannell and Elwes) wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw" by the police because of his unusual calling card.

Opening on October 23, the sixth installment of the "Saw" franchise was directed by Kevin Greutert and stars Costas Mandylor, Mark Rolston, Betsy Russell, Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith and Peter Outerbridge
"SAW VII"
Lionsgate has greenlit "SAW VII" with a January start of production, reports Variety. David Hackl -- production designer of the second, third and fourth films and helmer of "SAW V" -- has been hired to direct.
Mark Burg and Oren Koules, who have produced all six of the "Saw" pics, are back as producers. And screenwriters Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who wrote the fourth, fifth and sixth films, are writing the seventh.
